Course Description:
This 2-day Hands-On course will train your technicians how to fully utilize the 3M 965 DSP fault location test set. Students will learn how to operate this unit, and analyze the results. Fault simulators will be used in the classroom for hands-on lab exercises. Students will learn how to locate resistive, capacitive and cross-battery faults using the 965 DSP.
Emphasis will be placed on how to effectively use the TDR function in this unit. Most technicians in the field today only utilize about 30 of this test instruments capabilities our goal is to have a 100 of this test instruments capabilities put to use in the field .
