This Hands-On 2-day course is designed to provide technicians with a practical and Hands-On understanding of the rapid expansion of fiber optics. This expansion has created two new realities- increased reliance on fiber optics for crucial traffic paths, and secondly the shortage of contract installationsplicing teams. It makes sense for a telephone company to be able to internally respond to fiber emergencies. To do this efficiently, technicians need training on the cable, closures, and splicing techniques unique to their fiber optic plant.
This class is designed to increase the technician's confidence and competence, which will result in a successful response to a fiber cut by being prepared and skilled for emergency restoration.
