This Hands-On course is highly interactive and consists of theory with plenty of hands on practical content. It will provide support staff new to LINUX with a sound appreciation of this powerful operating environment.
This course provides attendees with knowledge and confidence to provide day-to-day support of LINUX based systems. Attendees will gain a fundamental knowledge of the LINUX operating system and be able to use some of the more advanced LINUX facilities. In addition, they will be able to provide basic support on a day-to-day basis for LINUX-based systems.
This course is for technical support staff who require the basic skills necessary to effectively support LINUX systems. This course is suitable for most distributions of LINUX, including Red Hat, Ubuntu and SuSE.
Attendees should be technical staff who have a moderate to good knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system. No prior experience with LINUX is required.
Instructor-led with numerous Hands-On labs and exercises.
BTS always provides equipment to have a very successful Hands-On course. BTS also encourages all attendees to bring their own equipment to the course. This will provide attendees the opportunity to incorporate their own gear into the labs and gain valuable training using their specific equipment.
