Course Description

This highly intense Hands-On 2-day or 3-day course, depending on the number of Dryers to be covered. (ADK, Chatlos, Dielectric, or McIntire). Students will gain an in-depth Real-World experience on Air Dryer Technique, Routine Maintenance and Troubleshooting.

Students Will Learn

Why Air Systems
Introduction to Air Dryers (what is air, moisture, dew point, air volume and how they relate)
Air Dryer Information (capacity, sizing, location and electrical requirements)
Basic Sections of a Dryer
The workings of water-sealed, oil-less pistonheatless compressors
Routine maintenance
Trouble shooting
Rebuilding water sealed and oil-lessheatless compressors.
Testing procedures
Troubles will be placed in both types of dryers for the hands on troubleshooting portion of the class
