This course is designed for support personnel who are responsible for provisioning, maintaining, interpreting, and reviewing a Basic Alternate Route Selection (BARS) database and a Network Alternate Route Selection (NARS) database on a Private Branch Exchange (PPX) using the Command Line Interface (CLI).
Students should have the following knowledge of
-Meridian 1 system in overlays 15, 16, 17 and 14.
-Performing call traces on calls in system to verify call routing correctly.
-Understanding trunking difference between Tie , COT and DID
To be modularized/tailored based on client specifications and requirements.
-Have access to (1-minimum) PBX for programming of BARS and NARS
-White board available

-Training material used will be based on most current NTPs from Nortel.
